What we liked
- + Measures up to 800 yards with slope and continuous scan mode, far more range than any disc golf hole needs
- + Pinsensor technology is described as measuring overlapping subjects, which matters with trees behind a target
- + Weighs 6.52 oz at 4.09 x 2.83 x 1.61 in, and ships with a pouch, CR2 battery, wrist strap and cleaning cloth
Trade-offs
- - Runs on a CR2 battery and not a rechargeable cell, so you need to keep a spare on hand
- - Built for ball golf flags, and the listing does not mention a slope off switch or a magnetic mount
