Dynamic Discs 3-Disc Golf Set with Bag - Putter, Midrange and Driver plus Cadet Shoulder Bag, Towel and Mini (Heather Gray) Review (2026)

What it is

This Dynamic Discs starter kit pairs three discs, a Judge putter, a Truth midrange, and an Escape fairway driver, with a Cadet shoulder bag, a small towel, and a mini marker disc, all in a Heather Gray color scheme. The Judge is Dynamic Discs' signature putter, the Truth is a straight flying midrange, and the Escape is a beginner friendly fairway driver, giving a new player one disc for each phase of a hole rather than a random assortment. Packaging the discs with a bag, towel, and mini means a first time buyer does not need to shop separately for basic accessories before their first round.

Fit for the job

For someone picking up disc golf for the first time, having a putter, midrange, and fairway driver covers the three core throws of a typical hole, tee shot, approach, and putt, without the confusion of choosing molds individually. The Cadet shoulder bag that comes with the set is built as an entry level bag rather than a full tournament bag, with room for roughly 8 to 10 discs in its main compartment plus a separate pocket for putters, a mesh pocket for a scorecard or pencil, and a drink holder sized for a standard water bottle. That capacity gives new players room to grow their disc collection before needing to upgrade bags.

Features and specs

The included discs are the Judge putter, Truth midrange, and Escape fairway driver, all standard Dynamic Discs molds known for predictable, straight leaning flights that suit players still learning disc control. The Cadet bag adds an adjustable shoulder strap for comfortable carrying, a mesh accessory pocket, and a drink holder, while the set also throws in a small towel and a mini marker disc so a player has the basic tools for a full round. The Heather Gray colorway applies to the bag, giving the kit a neutral look that does not lean heavily masculine or feminine.

Build and materials

Dynamic Discs is an established disc golf brand, and its Judge, Truth, and Escape molds are widely used and reviewed across the sport, which gives buyers more confidence in flight consistency than with generic no name starter discs. The Cadet bag is made as a lightweight, budget friendly shoulder bag rather than a padded backpack style bag, so it favors portability over heavy duty protection or large storage capacity. The towel included is a small accessory towel rather than a full sized course towel, useful for quick wipes but not a substitute for a larger microfiber towel in wet conditions.

Value for money

Bundling three name brand discs with a bag, towel, and mini marker gives new players nearly everything needed for a first round in one purchase, which is generally better value than buying each piece separately at retail. The set is a strong pick for someone who wants trusted, well reviewed discs rather than unbranded starter plastic, and the Cadet bag, while basic, is a genuine Dynamic Discs product rather than a filler accessory. The main limitation on value is that the Cadet bag's roughly 8 to 10 disc capacity will likely be outgrown within a season or two of regular play, at which point most players upgrade to a larger bag.
