What we liked
- + Mako3 goes where you point it, a great teacher for clean midrange form
- + Low-cost DX plastic grips well and is easy to replace if lost
- + 170-174g weight gives a stable, controllable feel on straight lines
Trade-offs
- - Neutral flight offers little help when you need a guaranteed fade
- - DX plastic wears fast, which makes an already neutral mid flippier
