Nordic Rooster Frisbee Disc Golf Retriever - Telescopic Stainless Steel Pole with 3 Attachments, 16 ft
Nordic Rooster's disc golf retriever, a 16 ft telescopic stainless steel pole with 3 attachments for water recovery.
A retriever pays for itself the first time it pulls a disc out of a pond or a thorn bush. The variables are reach, what the head can actually grab, and how heavy the pole feels fully extended. Long poles flex badly at full length, and a head designed for water grabs poorly in brush. Collapsed length decides whether the retriever fits your bag or lives in the car instead. We weighed grabbing reliability, pole stiffness at full extension, and collapsed size. Longer telescoping models suit courses with real water carries, while shorter ones suit wooded courses where discs hide in undergrowth a few steps off the fairway. If your local course has deep ponds, prioritize a head that holds a disc under tension over a model with slightly longer reach and a weaker grab.
