Prodigy Disc Apex Disc Golf Backpack - Stores 20+ Discs, Insulated Cooler Pocket, Cordura Nylon
Prodigy's Apex backpack in Cordura nylon, storing 20+ discs with an insulated cooler pocket.
Large bags exist because plenty of players carry a wide selection: multiple putters, several fairway options and backups of trusted molds. Once you pass twenty discs, the bag itself has to do real work. A supportive frame, a hip belt that transfers load off the shoulders and a rigid base keep a heavy bag from becoming punishing by the back nine. We assessed frame stiffness, hip belt quality, pocket organization and how the bag behaves when it is only half full, since an unstructured large bag sags. Framed packs with hip belts suit tournament players and long walking courses. Simpler high-capacity bags suit players who mostly cart and only carry short distances. Be honest about how many discs you actually throw before sizing up.
