Training aids fix specific problems, and buying one without knowing your fault is how they end up in a closet. Some target grip and release timing, others build the pull-through path, and a few add resistance to teach sequencing. The useful ones give immediate feedback you can feel or hear; the rest just add weight to a motion you already repeat incorrectly. Durability varies more between models than the price suggests. We weighed the feedback each aid provides, whether it drills a motion that transfers to real throws, and how much space it needs. Resistance-based tools suit players building rotational power, feedback devices suit anyone fighting off-axis torque or an early release, and simple alignment aids suit players who already film themselves and want a fixed reference point rather than another gadget in the bag.
